Meet Sonja

Animal communicator & healer

Sonja sharing a quiet moment with Luna, her bay mare, among fall colors

Hi there, I’m Sonja. I am an animal communicator and healer for both you and your pets. I have always believed animals have something to say, and that they come to us for unique reasons. Sometimes we need someone to help us hear what it is they have to say. I help you see the deeply rooted connections you share and help you find a healing path forward through current or past difficulties.

Though my work is ever evolving and growing, I always remain curious. I believe every animal brings their own perspectives, emotions, personality, and wisdom to help us on our journey. Because of this belief, I allow every animal to guide their session. In doing so, every session gets the freedom to move at its own pace, reach its own depth, and bring forward exactly what you and your animal need most in that moment.

It is important to me that the animal, their messages, and your relationship remain the priority for every session. Every session has its own flow, but they are all rooted in compassion for where you and your animal are currently. Though the messages your animal carries are important, it is equally important to me that your relationship be seen, heard, and felt as well.

I started this work because of my first horse, Luna. She opened the door to being able to connect with and hear my animals. Her past brought forward a need to do things a little differently. My first session with her, guided by another communicator, is what originally sparked my desire to help others find the depth in their own animal relationships. She is firm in her beliefs, but gentle in her delivery of messages and life lessons. This is something she has taught me how to do, and what I bring forward into my sessions.

I have a deep connection to and primarily work with horses, however I love working with all animals. I believe all animals have a purpose and messages to be heard. I am here to help you build an even deeper relationship with the animal beside you.

The inspiration

Threads of my own

Every animal in my life has been a teacher. This work wasn’t learned from a book. It was learned from them. Tap any of them to see more.

The four farm dogs posed in the barn doorway: Kora in the truck bed, Lumi and Nox on the hay bales, and Chazz perched beside them
Barn chores, supervised. Kora on the tailgate, Lumi and Nox holding down the hay, Chazz overseeing it all.
Forever threaded

Some threads don’t end. They just change how they hold us. These two are still very much part of the family.

Curious what your animal would say?

Connection Sessions are open, and I would be honored to hold that space for the both of you.
