This is a question many people carry quietly in their hearts. One of the things animals have shown me again and again is that the bond we share with them is never random. There is a rooted thread that runs between our lives and theirs. Sometimes it's quiet, and sometimes it is incredibly strong and loud, but no matter how it is presented, it is always profoundly meaningful.
My own horse, Luna, is one of those quietly powerful bonds. It is because of her that the door to listening to animals in this way was first opened for me.
